Itinerary

1. Day 1 — Arrival in Sarajevo

   Meet-and-greet at Sarajevo airport. Visit to the Tunnel of Hope museum, the lifeline of the city during the 1990s siege. City tour of Sarajevo: the Baščaršija bazaar, Morića Han, the Catholic cathedral and the synagogue, the Gazi Husrev-beg and Ferhadija mosques, the Latin Bridge, the old City Hall and the Austro-Hungarian quarter. Dinner in Baščaršija, then transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Sarajevo.

2. Day 2 — Sarajevo – Mostar – Počitelj – Sarajevo

   Breakfast, then a scenic drive along the Neretva river to Mostar. Walking tour: the UNESCO-listed Old Bridge (built 1557, rebuilt with original materials in 2004), the Kujundžiluk bazaar and the Koski Mehmed Pasha mosque, with free time for photos. Continue to Blagaj, where the Buna river rises beneath a cliff next to a dervish lodge, then to the stone village of Počitelj. Return to Sarajevo. Overnight in Sarajevo.

3. Day 3 — Sarajevo – Belgrade

   Breakfast and departure for Serbia. Arrival in Belgrade, one of Europe's oldest cities, for the city tour: the Old Palace, the Millennium monument, the Belgrade fortress at the meeting of the Sava and the Danube, Kalemegdan park, Tašmajdan, the Military Museum, the Damat Ali Pasha mausoleum and the Bajrakli mosque. Free time on Knez Mihailova street. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Belgrade.

4. Day 4 — Belgrade – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad – Belgrade

   Breakfast and drive north into Vojvodina, Serbia's most prosperous region. First stop Sremski Karlovci, seat of the Serbian Orthodox Church until 1922: the town hall, the Catholic church, the Four Lions fountain and the Chapel of Peace on the hill, where the 1699 Treaty of Karlowitz was signed. Free time, then continue to Novi Sad, capital of Vojvodina. Petrovaradin fortress with its view over the city, then the centre: Liberty Square, the Svetozar Miletić statue, the Catholic cathedral, the Orthodox cathedral of Saint George, Saint Nicholas church and the synagogue. Free time and return to Belgrade. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Belgrade.

5. Day 5 — Belgrade – departure

   Breakfast, visit to the House of Flowers (Tito's mausoleum) and a panoramic drive through the city, then free time until the transfer to Belgrade airport for the onward flight. End of program.
